The BEST thing in the world,

The WORST thing in the world,

Are You Mentor Material?

- by Patti Sarr, teacher, writer, thinker

You gotta trust SOMEBODY!
You just gotta have at least 1 place in the world where you feel completely Safe, and open to being your very self.
- Matt

Since I've been "in touch" with my Feelings:
I'm more grounded, less frantic.
More excited, less afraid.
I'm more aware, less in the dark.
More smart, less naïve.
More calm, less scattered.

Less upset, more uplifting.
Less scattered, more flattered.
Less criticism, more encouragement.
Less pain, more Joy.
Less annoyed, more ALIVE!!

"To get to forgiveness, we first have to work through the painful experiences that require it."

-- Christiane Northrup

"We must let ourselves feel all the painful destruction we want to forgive rather than swallow it in denial. If we do not face it, we cannot forgive it."

-- Kenneth McNoll

"Oh the comfort, the inexpressible comfort of feeling safe with a person, having neither to weigh thoughts nor measure words, but pouring them all right out, just as they are -- chaff and grain together -- certain that a faithful hand will take and sift them, keep what is worth keeping, and with the breath of kindness, blow the rest away."

-- Dinah Mulock

Go placidly amid the noise and haste,
and remember what peace there may be in silence.
As far as possible without surrender
be on good terms with all persons.
Speak your truth quietly and clearly;
and listen to others,
even the dull and the ignorant;
they too have their story.
Avoid loud and aggressive persons,
they are vexations to the spirit.
If you compare yourself with others,
you may become vain and bitter;
for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.

Self-Processing Steps
1. Allow the Crying.
2. FEEL what it's based on.
3. Find the Belief that is Behind the feeling.
4. See if you Agree with it.
5. If so, keep it and just continue crying until done.
6. If it's not a solid Belief yet, try to Let it go, give it no energy, no glue, nothing to stand on.
7. If it IS a solid Belief, hear it. Heed it. Listen to it… it's probably from experience and trying to tell you something.
- Apparently, something similar to this has happened to you before.

Guess what?
- - Avoiding your Feelings, doesn't work!
- - - Denying your Feelings, doesn't work!
- - - - Drinking away your Feelings, doesn't work!
